Diabetic Shoe Clinic is a mobile service providing Medicare-approved diabetic shoes, custom inserts, and in-home fittings across Kentucky. We offer pop-up clinics, home visits, and full insurance paperwork support.
To qualify, you must:
-Have Medicare Part B
-Have been diagnosed with diabetes
-Have at least one qualifying foot condition, such as:
*Neuropathy with callus formation
*History of foot ulcers or amputation
*Foot deformities (bunions, Charcot foot)
*Poor circulation
-Have a prescription and certification from your doctor
Medicare typically covers:
–1 pair of diabetic shoes per calendar year
-Up to 3 pairs of inserts per year
-Shoe modifications, if medically necessary We handle all required paperwork and work with your doctor to streamline approval.

Here’s what to expect:
-Foot evaluation and medical history review
-Shoe style selection based on foot condition and preferences
-Foot measurement and 3D scanning for custom inserts
-Trial fitting and adjustments
-Insurance paperwork processing
-Delivery and follow-up fitting (if needed)
After paperwork is submitted, Medicare approval takes about 45 days. Once approved, your shoes and inserts are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks.

Yes! We offer home visits across Kentucky for patients who cannot attend a pop-up clinic. Call us to request a home appointment.

Absolutely! We offer:
–Diabetic socks (moisture-wicking, seamless)
–Compression socks
–Custom orthotics & inserts
–Foot care kits (lotions, antifungal, nail clippers)
–Protective slippers & antimicrobial shoe spray
If you don’t qualify, we offer affordable cash pay bundles that include shoes and inserts. Free consultations are available.
Yes. Medicare requires updated documentation each calendar year, even if your condition remains the same.
Yes! We welcome and encourage caregivers to be part of the fitting process.

We send automatic reminders when you’re eligible for new shoes or inserts. Most patients qualify once per year.

Contact your podiatrist or physician immediately. Diabetic wounds can worsen quickly, so early care is essential. Our shoes are designed to prevent this, but medical care comes first.
